2. Enquiries and availability
Submitting a form does not create a confirmed booking. It only requests availability or information.
A booking is considered confirmed only after Walkborder sends a written proposal, the customer accepts the stated conditions and any required payment is successfully received.
3. Prices and inclusions
Prices may be stated per private group, per vehicle, per person or as a custom quotation. The applicable basis must be visible in the proposal.
The written confirmation must identify included transport, guide services, tickets, tolls, taxes, meals and any excluded costs.
4. Payment
Payment instructions are sent only after availability and final conditions are confirmed.
The website does not process payments. The production website must identify accepted methods, payment deadlines, currencies and any transaction costs.
5. Changes requested by the customer
Changes to dates, group size, pickup location or itinerary are subject to availability and may affect the price.
Material changes become valid only after written confirmation by Walkborder.
6. Operational changes
Walkborder may alter the order of stops when weather, traffic, closures, safety, ticket conditions or other operational circumstances make the original order impractical.
The purpose and overall value of the service should be preserved whenever a reasonable alternative exists.
7. Customer responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate group, contact, pickup, luggage, child-seat, mobility and health-related logistical information relevant to safe operation.
Customers are responsible for arriving at the agreed time and carrying any legally required documents.
8. Accessibility and suitability
Tour descriptions should identify known walking, stairs, slopes, uneven surfaces and other material limitations.
Customers should disclose mobility requirements before confirmation so an adapted route or suitable alternative can be assessed.
9. Liability
Liability provisions must comply with Portuguese and European law and should not attempt to exclude rights that cannot legally be excluded.
The final text requires legal review before publication.
10. Complaints and assistance
Operational problems should be reported as soon as possible so the team has a reasonable opportunity to respond.
Formal complaints may be sent to the published company contact details and handled within the legally applicable period.
11. Governing law
These current terms are intended to be governed by Portuguese law, subject to mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rules.
The final governing-law and dispute-resolution clauses require legal validation.
